Alexander Pereda is an International Ballet Master whose expertise is deeply rooted in the Cuban Ballet Method, thanks to his rigorous training under the tutelage of Fernando Alonso, the esteemed founder of this unique style, and his accomplished daughter, Laura Alonso.

Hailing from Cuba, Alexander's journey in the world of ballet began with his education at the prestigious National Ballet School in Camaguey. Demonstrating exceptional talent, he rapidly ascended to the role of Principal Soloist with Ballet de Camaguey. His career further blossomed as he joined ProDanza in Havana, where he was profoundly influenced by Laura Alonso, his mentor and director at the time.

In a pivotal move, Alexander joined the esteemed Ballet Nacional de Cuba as a Principal Soloist. His illustrious career as a professional dancer has seen him grace stages worldwide, captivating audiences with his masterful performances in iconic roles such as Basilio in "Don Quixote," James in "La Sylphide," and leading roles in classics like "Le Corsaire," "Diane et Acteon," and "La Bayadère."

Alexander's exceptional contributions to ballet have been recognized with prestigious accolades, including the Special Joffrey Award in 1994 and the Diploma of Honour in 1991. His artistic journey reflects a dedication to the art of ballet, marked by international acclaim and a deep connection to the Cuban Ballet heritage.
