‘Nothing is so healing as human touch.’
— Bobby Fischer

Aida Lekja is a qualified osteopath and physiotherapist whose professional path has been profoundly shaped by her personal experience as a dancer. Born in Montenegro and raised in Salzburg, her early engagement with movement fostered a deep curiosity about the human body and its capacity for healing.

Her formal education includes:
• 2023–2025: Danube University Krems — Master of Science in Osteopathy (MSc D.O.)
• 2019–2023: Wiener Schule für Osteopathie — Osteopathy (Basic Training)
• 2016–2019: FH Campus Wien — Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy (BSc)

Originally trained as a dancer, Aida was compelled to step away from the stage due to health-related challenges. After conventional medical approaches offered limited relief, she encountered osteopathy — an experience that proved transformative. This personal recovery not only restored her physical wellbeing but also inspired her to pursue a therapeutic career, with a particular dedication to supporting dancers through injury prevention, recovery, and long-term physical health.

Since establishing her private practice in Vienna in 2021, Aida has worked closely with midwives and expanded her expertise in women’s health, as well as in the care of newborns and children. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and individualised, drawing on structural, visceral, and craniosacral techniques to address each person’s specific needs.

Aida is committed to supporting individuals across all stages of life. Her work is characterised by sensitivity, precision, and a deep respect for the body’s inherent intelligence, with a special focus on dancers, women, and children.
