PROGRAM LEGACY & EVOLUTION
Immerse yourself in the extraordinary world of dance with SADA's "Phoenix 2025" Summer Dance Intensive, located in the historic and picturesque city of Salzburg, Austria. Since its inception in 2006, SADA (formerly SIBA) has served as a melting pot of diverse dance styles, transcending classical ballet to embrace modern and contemporary dance. Guided by the wisdom of past ballet masters such as Maya Plisetskaya, Cynthia Gregory, and Ildikó Pongor, our program is meticulously designed to offer a comprehensive and enriching experience. This summer, at "Phoenix," elevate your dance skills in an environment that reflects the dynamics of a professional dance company and celebrates a wide array of dance forms. Under the expert guidance of the distinguished Prof. Peter Breuer, an International Choreographer and Artistic Advisor of the Salzburg Ballet at the State Theatre of Salzburg, as well as the Resident Choreographer of Europaballett St. Pölten, this program intertwines a tapestry of artistic excellence and cultural vibrancy at the heart of Salzburg. Spanning an intensive two to three weeks against the scenic backdrop of Salzburg, the "Phoenix" program is tailored to provide a holistic dance experience. It covers an extensive range of dance techniques, specialized repertoire and variations workshops, along with personalized coaching. The setting reflects that of a professional dance company, offering young dancers a realistic insight into the professional dance arena. This immersive experience not only refines their skills but also influences their career aspirations, providing invaluable insights into the professional dance domain.
